did a publishing company/author hire you to make them cover art, or is it your book? anyway, excellent picture. i cant even begin to imagine the skill/time it takes to create something like that

I'll admit I like your earlier work like this - a more realistic palette and contained subject - better than Warcraft-style art, which requires more garish colors and exaggeration of shapes and all - but I do know that takes skill too - and pays better, I'm sure.

Ah, just curious. ^^ Your work is very nice, I like the heavy shines and shadows, with the added textures. They've all got a sort of hazy dreaminess to them. My favorite is shards for its color brilliance and sharpness with mean textures. Oh, but it seems that one got a daily deviation too ; )
