This is a quck painting i did this weekend on Comics-salon in Bratislava (www.comics-salon.sk).
It was a live paintig action where some artists painted on boards (like on graffity jams). Big thanks goes out to Appolonius for the background ornaments, to all the other painters and most to burning flag who made it all happen
I remember seeing it on CS, but got really surprised it ended up in A4-nultý priestor if I remember correctly, in some little room during Slavcon...
I especially love the devil, his face-expression is really like any other man from daily life. That kind of tired guy taking a beer after comming home from work... I like it.
This piece is really good and it was amazing, to see Perzo paint it all down, from the sketch to the finish. The mega-crossover was a great event, truly a painters jam, and it lasted only about 3 hours. Other pieces from the jam can be seen here: [link]ics&album=6&step=12&typ
The satan is excellent, the acrylics were really pure and shiny. There is gonna be a concert of DJ Spooky (that subliminal kid) here in Bratislawa on wednesday, just in the space, where the 4 crossover paintings and other comics are going to be exhibited for one month, so the concert is gonna be really different.
hehe, that's a nice quick sketch, really original you depicted the theme of a drunk really well, I love his gesture, and how seems to laugh or shout somebody in this exceggerated way only drunk people have.
the big guy seems to be really tired... I wonder of what. because of the long night? because he has to carry that small guy all the time, or because his shouting is annoying him?
nice work, and an overall consequent style
Daniel
I think that this is out of your style, but is very interesting too, like a mixture of comics + goya.
I prefer your other works, but this is a good work too, as usual.
